Unlike the more intense Rhone Valley wines grown high up on the famous hillsides of the region, this wine comes from vineyards farther downslope. While prized wines like Condrieu are meant for aging and can be very expensive, this varietal wine is fresh, young, an excellent value and a great introduction to Vioginer. Stands up great to spicy Pad Thai or curries. 14% abv.
Appearance: Clear lemon yellow.
Nose: High intensity. White flowers, acacia, peach. Followed by honey with oxidation.
Mouth: Dry and high acidity. Full mouth, good tension. Riper fruits than the nose: passionfruit, mango.
