Viré-Clessé is the youngest cru of the Mâconnais, created in 1999, and this one comes from Paul’s sister in law’s winery. Viré-Clessé is located to the north of the older crus, and is gaining popularity thanks to its perfect balance between a fresh Macon-Villages and a more powerful Pouilly-Fuisse. Great with shellfish, elaborate seafood dishes, and strawberries! 13% abv.
