Unlike the more intense Rhone Valley wines grown high up on the famous hillsides of the region, this wine comes from vineyards farther downslope. While prized wines like Condrieu are meant for aging and can be very expensive, this varietal wine is fresh, young, an excellent value and a great introduction to Vioginer.
