This is the elixir of Alsace, straight to your glass! Riesling is grown throughout the region on very different soils, producing very different wines from place to place. Rieslings can be very complex, and this dry wine is no exception. Fermented in a 2000 gallon oak foudre, this wine starts off shy but develops ripe pear and quince aromas. It has a petroleum character typical of the variety which gives it additional structure. This wine is perfect for snowy winter holidays and the big meals that go along with them.
